KONČAR Wins $2.9 Million Transformer Contract in the Netherlands
KONČAR - Distribution and Special Transformers Inc. has been awarded a$2.9 million (€2.6 million) contract to manufacture a 110 MVA, 33/110 kV power transformer for the Lageland high-voltage substation in the Netherlands.
The buyer, Lageland B.V., selected the Croatian manufacturer for the contract, according to an award notice published on the European Union’s Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) platform. The contract was concluded on October 20, 2026, with a stated contract period from September 1, 2026, to September 1, 2031.
