Join Cargill’s Applications Engineering team for a practical discussion on FR3TM natural ester fluid and the evolving role of dielectric fluids in transformer applications. Following a brief overview of Cargill’s dielectric fluid portfolio, including FR3TM fluid, FR3r™ fluid, and SE3TM fluid, our expert panel will answer the most common questions they receive from utilities, OEMs, and end users.
FR3TM fluid by CargillTM is the original and most trusted natural ester, used in over 5 million transformers throughout the world. With a proven 30-year history, FR3 fluid provides higher levels of fire safety, reliability, and loading capacity compared to mineral oil and is readily biodegradable per OECD 301B.
Topics will include the benefits of natural esters compared to mineral oil and dry-type transformers, cold-weather performance, fire safety, moisture tolerance, and other key considerations for transformer design and operation. Attendees will gain valuable insights, real-world perspectives, and answers to frequently asked questions about natural ester-filled transformers.
Why attend?
- Learn the advantages of natural ester fluids
- Explore fire safety, moisture management, and cold-weather performance
- Get answers directly from Cargill’s applications engineering experts
