G. Matthew Kennedy Appointed VP at Doble Megger Group
G. Matthew Kennedy has been appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Transformer Business Unit at Doble Megger Group, following the merger of Doble Engineering and Megger.
Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Kennedy said the role brings together “two of the longest and strongest brands in transformer and substation HV diagnostics!”
The merger, completed on October 2 under ESCO Technologies, combines expertise in transformer testing, high-voltage diagnostics, condition monitoring, and electrical asset management.
Megger provides portable testing equipment and field instrumentation, while Doble specializes in substation diagnostics, continuous monitoring, analytical software, and engineering services.
Kennedy previously served as Senior Director of Product Management at Doble Engineering, focusing on testing and diagnostic technologies for utility infrastructure.
His appointment comes as the combined organization integrates its operations and technical portfolios to support transformer reliability, maintenance planning, and asset condition assessment across the power industry.
