GREEN GENIUS Delivers Transformers for Lithuanian Solar Projects

GREEN GENIUS has announced the on-site delivery of the main 110 kV substation power transformers for its Lieponys and Izabelinė solar projects in Lithuania.
The two projects will have a combined 182 MW of solar capacity. Izabelinė will also include a 17.3 MW / 69.2 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS).
Both projects will connect directly to Lithuania’s electricity transmission network operated by AB "Litgrid".
Construction is more than 70% complete, according to GREEN GENIUS, with critical equipment now on-site. The projects are scheduled to enter operation in the first quarter of 2027.
The delivery of the transformers follows the progress of construction at both sites. No further technical specifications for the transformers were provided in the announcement.
