Eaton to Build $242 Million Arkansas Factory
Eaton plans to invest $242 million to build a new manufacturing facility in North Little Rock, Arkansas, creating 1,200 jobs.
The 1-million-square-foot factory will produce customized electrical enclosures for Eaton’s Fibrebond business, serving demand from data centers, utilities, industrial customers and digital communications markets.
Eaton said the facility will double its U.S. manufacturing capacity for electrical enclosures.
“Customers are looking for ways to deploy critical power infrastructure faster, with greater certainty and less complexity,” said Mike Yelton, Eaton’s president of the Electrical Sector, Americas. “This investment expands our ability to deliver custom modular electrical enclosures while strengthening our U.S. manufacturing capacity and skilled workforce.”
The investment comes as U.S. demand for electrical equipment rises alongside data center construction. Wood Mackenzie estimates that the U.S. data center electrical equipment market could grow from $20 billion to $65 billion by 2030.
Eaton acquired Fibrebond in 2025.
