Powerside Moves Montreal Operations to Dorval Site

24 Jun 2026
Powerside, a global provider of power quality technologies used across electrical infrastructure and transformer-adjacent applications, has relocated its Montreal operations to a larger facility in Dorval, Quebec. The move became effective June 8, 2026, with the new site located at 2650 Av. André, Dorval, QC H9P 1K6. The company confirmed that its former Saint-Laurent facility will continue operating temporarily to support an orderly transition of equipment and inventory.

The relocation is intended to expand manufacturing capacity and office space, particularly for large-scale power quality and correction projects. According to the company, the Dorval site will serve as its primary Canadian manufacturing hub.

“Powerside is growing, and we need to expand our facilities to continue supporting our growing customer base,” said CEO Ross Dueber, highlighting the operational pressure driving the move. The company noted that the new site aligns with previous infrastructure expansion efforts and long-term scaling plans.

From a production standpoint, the Dorval facility is expected to significantly increase shop-floor capacity and support development of a new customer experience center. Seth Johnson, President & General Manager of the Corrections Business, emphasized the operational impact: “This move significantly expands our production capabilities and creates the space to develop a new, state-of-the-art customer experience center that will showcase the depth of our technology and expertise.”

Powerside reports a 75-year history in power quality, with more than 80,000 monitoring solutions deployed and over 15,000 power correction projects completed in more than 50 countries. Its solutions, including harmonic filtering and power factor correction systems, are commonly deployed in environments where transformer performance, load stability, and grid efficiency are critical considerations.
