Elsewedy Delivers 300 MVA for Sicily Solar Project

Elsewedy Electric has delivered two 150 MVA, 150 kV power transformers, with a combined capacity of 300 MVA, for the Fénix Solar Project in Sicily, Italy.
The company said the transformers will support the renewable energy development, describing the project as part of Europe’s ongoing expansion of renewable energy infrastructure.
The delivery reflects Elsewedy Electric’s continued involvement in power infrastructure supporting the energy transition across Europe.
Elsewedy Electric highlighted Iberdrola Italia and ib vogt GmbH collaboration as part of the delivery.
