SANTA CATARINA, BRAZIL - WEG dry-type transformer technology will be used to power the largest aquarium in southern Brazil and one of the most modern in the country.

The Oceanic Aquarium which officially opened in early March is located in the city of Balneário Camboriú, on the coast of the state of Santa Catarina.

WEG dry transformer technology was selected for the project to provide reliability of the power supply for this tourist attraction.
