Voltamp Transformers Secures US$10.3M GETCO Order
Voltamp Transformers Ltd has announced that it received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Ltd (GETCO) for an order valued at US$10.3 million (₹85.05 crore). The contract covers the design, manufacturing, testing, and supply of power transformers in accordance with GETCO’s tender specifications. Delivery is expected within six months.
In its latest quarterly results, Voltamp reported a net profit of US$9.5 million (₹78.85 crore), up 4.2% from the same period last year. Revenue increased to US$58.1 million (₹482.6 crore), a 21.3% rise, while EBITDA climbed to US$11.3 million (₹93.55 crore), reflecting a 24.8% improvement and a stable operating margin of 19.4%. The company noted that heavy rains temporarily restricted access to certain delivery sites, delaying invoicing worth approximately US$1.2 million (₹10 crore).
Voltamp highlighted a key operational milestone: the ahead-of-schedule delivery of its highest-rated transformer to date — a 160 MVA, 220 kV unit.
The company entered FY26 with an order book of US$113 million (₹938 crore) and has added new orders totaling US$166 million (₹1,377 crore) so far this year. An additional US$11.1 million (₹92 crore) in contracts is pending formal confirmation. Voltamp said its strong pipeline reinforces revenue visibility for upcoming quarters.
We reported yesterday that Atlanta Electricals secured a significant transformer-supply order from GETCO in India, underscoring continued procurement momentum in Gujarat’s power-transmission network.
