Voltamp’s plant in Suhar wins first-ever order for 500 MVA 220 kV transformers

MUSCAT, OMAN - Voltamp Power has signed an agreement with Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (ONEIC) for the first order of two 500 MVA, 220/132/33 kV power transformers.

The equipment will be manufactured at Voltamp's plant in Suhar Industrial City.

The order follows a contract secured by ONEIC to construct a new 400/132/33 kV substation at Al Jifnain, which includes installation of two 500 MVA 220 kV power transformers at Misfah Grid Station.
