Virginia Transformer Delivers New Transformer to Ohio
Virginia Transformer Corp. has delivered a new power transformer to Cenovus Energy’s refinery in Lima, Ohio, supporting the facility’s ongoing power distribution needs.
The transformer was manufactured at Virginia Transformer’s P1 facility in Chihuahua, Mexico, and is designed to provide reliable and efficient power for daily refinery operations.
Cenovus Energy operates an integrated energy business headquartered in Alberta, Canada. Its Lima refinery produces a range of refined products, including low-sulfur gasoline, ultra-low sulfur diesel, jet fuel, and petrochemical feedstocks, serving markets across Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and southern Michigan.
Virginia Transformer said the project reflects its continued focus on supporting commercial and industrial customers with transformer solutions designed for reliability and shorter delivery timelines.
The project was supported by TEPS Inc. representative Jim Schaut, who led the sales effort, along with teams involved in the transformer’s design, manufacturing, and delivery.
