Virginia Transformer Corp. (VTC) has announced the launch of their Integrated Power Module, designed specifically for the electric vehicle (EV) market.

According to the company, more than a transformer, this is an integrated power solution that is a self-contained, plug-and-play power module that includes:

• Medium Voltage Switchgear
• Dry Transformer
• Main Breaker Panel
• Low Voltage Power Distribution

The uniqueness of the integrated power solution is the flexible configuration that enables users to build a scalable, integrated power module.

"EV infrastructure is rapidly expanding as the U.S. strives to achieve net-zero emissions targets. By 2030 it is estimated 48 million electric vehicles will be in use in the U.S., supported by 30 million charging stations," said Shankar Mukherjee, VP Product Management for VTC.
