Tunis to use $154m funding for distribution grid expansion and new transformer stations
The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a €138 million ($154 million) investment for Tunisia's state-run electricity distribution network.
The funds will enable the purchase and installation of high and medium voltage transformer stations, and around 155 miles of electrical lines, reports PV Tech.
The new infrastructure will pave the way for PV projects set to come online in the North African country over the coming years.
