Tubos Trans Electric TTE, a renowned designer and manufacturer of power and distribution transformers, has expanded its presence in the US market by opening new commercial and logistics offices in Houston, Texas. With over 60 years in the energy business, TTE has made a significant move to enhance its US operations, consolidating its position as a supplier with the most competitive lead times in the power transformer industry.

The company's latest investment of $30 million has allowed TTE to double its manufacturing capacity at its Argentina facility, improving productivity and reducing lead times. The expansion is aimed at meeting the growing demand in both local and global markets.

Diego Pastor, TTE's General Manager, commented on the Houston expansion, stating that this new step reaffirms the company's commitment to quality, engineering excellence, and speed in service delivery. Established in 1958,  TTE specializes in the design and manufacturing of power transformers under IEEE and IEC standards, catering to renewable energy, data centers, and electrical transmission and distribution networks.

Recently, TTE participated in the RE+ 2024 event in Anaheim, California, where its management team met with key West Coast distributors. The company continues to strengthen its customer service network in the US, offering extensive field services, including transformer assembly, maintenance, and repair.
