Trench Group Partners with HD Hyundai Electric to Support America’s Energy Transition
Trench Group and HD Hyundai Electric Co., Ltd. have signed a long-term agreement to supply high-voltage equipment for U.S. transmission infrastructure, supporting the development of future 765 kV transmission lines.
Under the agreement, HSP Hochspannungsgeräte GmbH will deliver dry-type 765 kV high-voltage bushings from its Charlotte, NC facility and from Germany. These bushings are designed to offer high reliability, enhanced safety, and strong environmental performance.
The collaboration aligns with the companies' shared commitment to modernizing the U.S. grid and supporting the energy transition. In addition to bushings, Trench Group continues to advance its innovations in dry-type High-Voltage Shunt Reactors (HVSRs) and instrument transformers, reinforcing its leadership in 765 kV technology.
