NAMIBIA - Trench group is  installing a 420 kV Air Core High Voltage Shunt Reactor Bank (HVSR) from Trench Austria

Trench group announced that as a long-standing and trusted partner of NamPower, they are honored to support Namibia's national power utility with the installation of a 420 kV Air Core High Voltage Shunt Reactor Bank (HVSR) from Trench Austria, one of the first of its kind worldwide and the first ever installed in Africa. Along with the pioneering HVSR equipment, Trench Group is also providing NamPower with state-of-the-art 420 kV Current Transformers (CTs) and Voltage Transformers (VTs) from Trench Germany, as well as 420 kV Capacitive Voltage Transformers (CVTs) from Trench Italia.
