Trench Group Completes Acquisition of Enerlux Power Srl
Trench Group has completed the acquisition of Enerlux Power SRL, an Italian manufacturer of power capacitors and power factor correction systems for medium- and high-voltage applications. The acquisition is intended to expand Trench Group’s capabilities in power quality and grid reliability.
Enerlux will continue to operate as a separate entity while collaborating with Trench Austria and Trench Italy. The companies plan to coordinate engineering, sales, and production efforts to provide integrated solutions for TSOs, EPCs, and other energy solution providers.
Dr. Bahadir Basdere, CEO and President of Trench Group, noted that the acquisition adds complementary technical capabilities, particularly in capacitors, air core reactors, and grid stabilization technologies such as FACTS and HVDC. The deal also brings more than 50 Enerlux employees into Trench Group.
The acquisition supports Trench Group’s broader strategy to offer a more comprehensive range of high-voltage transmission components and systems, aligning with ongoing developments in energy transition and grid infrastructure.
