MODENA, ITALY - With the installation of the latest dissolved gas analysis (DGA) measurement tool, the Italian transformer manufacturer TIRONI has officially opened its new oil lab, the company announced in a press release.

The laboratory will allow in-house testing and performance of all of the most important tests on insulating oils used in transformers and other electromechanical equipment, the manufacturer said in the release.

The new instruments will allow testing on all commonly used insulation liquids, including new and recycled mineral oils, as well as natural and synthetic esters.
