4 Sep 2019

OSLO, NORWAY - Statnett, Norwegian system operator of the national power grid, is selling an ETRA 33 132/11,5 kV 160 MVA power transformer.

The transformer was manufactured in 2007, installed in 2008 and it ran less than 400 hours since 2008. It was used at the reserve power plant at Tjeldbergodden which was built in 2008 in response to an energy deficit in the region.

As the new transmission line Ørskog-Sogndal was finalized in 2016, the reserve power power plant is being decommissioned.
