SPEL Secures First Transformer Supply Order Worth $7.4 Million from NLC India
Supreme Power Equipment Ltd (SPEL) has secured its first-ever order from NLC India, valued at approximately $7.4 million (Rs 61 crore), to supply inverter duty transformers. The order was awarded on 26 May 2025 and is expected to be executed within six months.
NLC India, a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, will receive transformers tailored to its specifications. These transformers are essential for renewable and thermal power applications, supporting efficient power conversion and stable grid integration.
Headquartered in Tamil Nadu, SPEL specializes in manufacturing power and distribution transformers. This contract strengthens the company's position within India's power infrastructure sector and lays the foundation for a long-term partnership with NLC India.
