4 Sep 2023

This move comes as the company strives to further its commitment to the European Union's green and digital transformation agenda.

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and industrial automation's digital transformation, has recently announced the appointment of Gwenaelle Avice-Huet as its Executive Vice President of Europe Operations, effective September 4, 2023. This move comes as the company strives to further its commitment to the European Union's green and digital transformation agenda.

Gwenaelle Avice-Huet will assume her new role, succeeding Philippe Delorme, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. In her capacity as Executive Vice President, Europe Operations, Gwenaelle will take charge of Schneider Electric's entire business portfolio across the European region, where she will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's contributions to Europe's sustainable and digital future.

Gwenaelle's journey with Schneider Electric began in 2021 when she joined as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy. She later ascended to the Executive Committee, holding the position of Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer. She boasts a strong academic background with a degree in Physics and Chemistry from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, a post-graduate diploma in Molecular Chemistry from France's Ecole Polytechnique, and an engineering degree from the Corps des Ponts et Chaussées. Additionally, she has also received recognition as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

Upon her nomination, Gwenaelle will be relocating from the United States to Europe.
