R&S Group Announces Executive Leadership Transition
R&S Group has announced a leadership change, with Eduardo Terzi stepping down as CEO with immediate effect following a mutual agreement with the company’s Board of Directors.
Dr. Matthias P. Weibel, Group CFO since 2022 and a member of the Executive Committee, has been appointed CEO ad interim while the Board conducts a search for a permanent successor.
The change comes as R&S Group continues to execute its strategy, including investments in additional power transformer capacity and commercial capabilities. The company reported a record order backlog of CHF 357.9 million at the end of June 2026, providing visibility into 2027 and beyond. Its strategic focus includes data centers, battery energy storage systems, industrial infrastructure and renewable energy applications.
Heinz Kundert, Chairman of the Board, said: “Eduardo Terzi has made important contributions to R&S Group’s strategic development. On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Eduardo for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future.”
The Group confirmed that its strategic priorities and mid-term guidance remain unchanged.
