RESA Power, LLC, a leader in power systems electrical testing and transformer services, has expanded its reach into the New York Capital Region with the acquisition of High Voltage Electric Service, Inc. (HVES). This marks the company's fifth acquisition in 2024.

Established in 1990 and based in Albany, NY, HVES specializes in electrical testing services, including acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing. With this acquisition, RESA Power strengthens its presence in the Albany area and broadens its customer base.

Mike Mavetz, Senior Vice President of Field Service at RESA Power, expressed his excitement over the acquisition, noting the company's dedication to increasing resources and capabilities for existing and new clients of HVES. Gus Mininberg, President of HVES, will continue to advise the RESA Power team as a sub-contractor, ensuring continuity.

The acquisition further supports RESA Power's employee-centric approach by offering immediate participation in its Employee Ownership Plan (EOP) to qualifying employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and shared success.
