RESA Power Expands Transformer Capabilities with PARC Acquisition

11 Dec 2024
RESA Power, a leader in power systems services and life extension solutions, has announced the acquisition of Power Asset Recovery Corporation (PARC). Based in North Canton, Ohio, PARC has specialized in substation power transformers and high-voltage transformer parts since 1996.

This acquisition strengthens RESA Power's position in the transformer services market, broadening the range of products and solutions available to customers. PARC supplies transformers ranging from 5MVA to over 100MVA, alongside essential parts like insulated bushings (up to 500kV), pumps, and LTC switches.

Mark Angus, Chief Growth Officer of RESA Power, highlighted the shared vision between the companies, stating, "We share the same passion, enthusiasm, and unrelenting focus on providing our customers with unparalleled levels of service."

Rick Kopf, PARC President and Founder, expressed optimism about the partnership. He noted that RESA Power's national reach and extensive portfolio will accelerate PARC's growth and enhance offerings for its long-standing customer base.

This is RESA Power's eighth acquisition in 2024 and aligns with its commitment to employee integration through its Employee Ownership Plan (EOP), fostering a collaborative culture under its "One RESA" philosophy.
