RESA Power Expands in Greater Chicago Area with Acquisition of Power Technical Services, Inc.
RESA Power, LLC, a leader in power systems electrical testing and transformer services, has announced its acquisition of Power Technical Services, Inc. (PTS). This move marks RESA Power's fourth acquisition in 2024, underscoring its growth trajectory in the power distribution sector.
Power Technical Services, headquartered in Downers Grove, IL, has been providing comprehensive electrical testing and engineering services since 2001. The acquisition grants RESA Power a strategic foothold in the greater Chicago area, integrating PTS's expertise in utility and industrial technical services.
Mike Mavetz, Senior Vice President of RESA Power's Field Service division, expressed enthusiasm about the deal, noting the added technical competence PTS brings, particularly in serving utility sector clients.
