R&S Group has announced the appointment of Eduardo Terzi as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2025. Terzi brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the transformer and energy sectors, most recently serving as CEO of the global transformer business at Siemens Energy.

In his previous role, Terzi oversaw a multi-billion-euro operation spanning over 20 manufacturing sites across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. His career also includes senior positions at Siemens AG and Motorola, where he led major business transformations and market expansions.

The appointment follows the planned departure of outgoing CEO Markus Laesser, who played a significant role in the company's recent transformation. Under Laesser's leadership, R&S Group was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, acquired Kyte Powertech, and expanded its manufacturing capacity, including the launch of a new transformer plant in Krzeczów, Poland.

Board Chairman Heinz Kundert thanked Laesser for his service and welcomed Terzi, expressing confidence in his ability to guide the company's next growth phase.
