Sukrut Electric Co. Pvt. Ltd. has completed a key ownership transition, marking a new phase in the company’s operations following the fulfilment of all transaction conditions on 16 December 2025.

The formal handover took place in Pune, where representatives of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen, the outgoing management entity, addressed employees and concluded leadership responsibilities. Mr. Holger Michalka and Mr. Johannes Altmann represented the outgoing shareholders during the transition.

Ownership has now moved to a joint venture between Quality Power and Yash Highvoltage Limited, positioning the company for its next stage of development. The new ownership was represented at the handover by Mr. Bharanidharan Pandyan, Managing Director of Quality Power, and Mr. Keyur Shah, Managing Director of Yash Highvoltage Limited.

According to statements shared during the transition, the handover emphasized continuity, preservation of Sukrut’s engineering capabilities, and long-term value creation rather than operational disruption. The company’s existing workforce, customer relationships, and engineering foundation are expected to remain central to its strategy moving forward.

Under the new joint ownership, Sukrut Electric is expected to focus on strengthening technological capabilities, expanding its offerings, and reinforcing customer trust across its markets.

The transition reflects a broader trend of strategic partnerships within the power and electrical engineering sector, where joint ventures are increasingly used to combine technical expertise with long-term investment goals.
