ProInversión announces public tender for major transmission line projects in Peru

LIMA, PERU - The Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión) has announced a public tender for the concession delivery of the 138 kV Transmission Line Puerto Maldonado - Iberia and 220/60/22.9 kV Valle del Chira Substation projects, to attract potential national and international investors.

The estimated investment in the 138 kV Puerto Maldonado - Iberia (Madre de Dios) Transmission Line is $33 million, and in the 220/60/22.9 kV Valle del Chira Substation (Piura) $17 million.
The award of the two projects is scheduled for the second quarter of 2021.
The Tender Bases as well as the draft contracts are available to interested parties on the ProInversión institutional portal.
