PFISTERER Opens New Production Facility in Rochester, NY, Advancing North American Expansion

PFISTERER Holding SE, a global leader in electrical connectivity solutions, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art production and sales facility in Rochester, New York. This new 10,000-square-meter site marks a significant step in PFISTERER's international expansion, particularly in the rapidly growing North American energy market.

The Rochester facility will focus on manufacturing overhead line insulators, screw connectors for cable systems, and high-voltage cables for the offshore industry. It also includes a dedicated training center for customers. Backed by an investment of nearly $10 million, the facility prioritizes safety, sustainability, and quality in its operations.

According to Johannes Linden, Spokesperson of PFISTERER's Executive Board, the new site enables the company to capitalize on the North American market's growth potential, driven by rising energy demand, renewable energy development, and the need to modernize power grids.

Dr. Konstantin Kurfiss, also of the Executive Board, emphasized the facility's role in addressing challenges such as extreme weather resilience and infrastructure modernization, aligning with PFISTERER's expansion strategy.

The project is expected to create local jobs, contributing to regional economic development while enhancing PFISTERER's global competitive edge.
