Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) started works on the expansion of its training facilities in York, Nebraska.

The expansion of York Operating Center is a $4.2 million project expected to be completed by the end of 2019, reports T&D World.

As part of the renovation, the facility will receive an additional 32,000 square feet of space, and it will include a substation, lines and line structures that will be used for simulated training for construction, as well as for operation and maintenance activities.
