New Dates Announced for Middle East Energy 2026
The Middle East Energy 2026 exhibition has been rescheduled to 1–3 September 2026 and will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), organisers have confirmed.
The international power and energy event had previously been scheduled for 7–9 April 2026, but organiser Informa Markets announced the revised dates in an official statement.
The upcoming edition will mark the 50th anniversary of Middle East Energy, which brings together companies and professionals from across the global power sector. The exhibition typically serves as a meeting point for stakeholders involved in power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, energy storage, digitalisation and critical power technologies.
According to the organisers, moving the event to September is expected to provide participants with additional time and flexibility to coordinate travel, logistics and exhibition preparations. The adjustment will also allow exhibitors more time to prepare product and technology showcases.
Attendance of around 50,000 industry professionals from approximately 178 countries is anticipated for the 2026 edition.
While organisers did not specify a formal reason for the schedule change, the revised timing comes amid ongoing regional tensions in parts of the Middle East.
Mark Ring, Group Director – Energy & Power at Informa Markets, said the decision aims to help ensure a successful event for exhibitors and visitors.
“Hosting the 2026 edition in September provides additional time for participants to organise logistics and prepare their technology showcases,” Ring said.
Middle East Energy has been held in Dubai for decades and is considered one of the region’s major events for the global power and energy industry.
