Kanonaden Entreprenad Mälardalen AB, part of AF Gruppen, has been awarded a SEK 117 million turnkey contract (excluding VAT) to perform ground and concrete works at the Hamra substation on behalf of Linxon Sweden AB, for client Svenska kraftnät.

The contract includes the reconstruction of the existing substation and the construction of a new 400 kV substation, featuring two control buildings. Kanonaden Entreprenad Mälardalen AB will handle groundworks, concrete and foundation works, as well as demolition of earthing grids and concrete foundations.

The project is slated to begin with site establishment and demolition in Q4 2025 and is expected to conclude in 2030.

This contract reflects AF Gruppen’s continued focus on infrastructure projects in Sweden, particularly in high-voltage energy facilities.
