Magment GmbH has announced the commercial launch of MagPower-3H™, a solid-state transformer (SST) platform that achieves high power, high voltage, and high frequency simultaneously, surpassing the traditional 200 kVA industry limit.

The platform uses Magment’s patented magnetizable concrete core and coaxial winding architecture, which the company says provides over 99% coupling, near-zero leakage inductance, integrated insulation, and air-cooled operation. According to Mauricio Esguerra, CEO of Magment GmbH, the technology allows SSTs to scale into the MVA class and be produced at cost parity with conventional oil-filled transformers.

Following successful testing and validation, Magment has launched production in Germany, San Diego (California), and Charlotte (North Carolina). The company targets demand from data centers, utilities, renewable energy developers, EV-charging networks, and transformer OEMs.

Magment is also opening a global Licensing & Technology Transfer Program for manufacturers seeking to integrate magnetizable concrete technology in utility, data-center, and clean-energy sectors.

Magment GmbH, based in Munich, holds more than 100 patents in magnetizable concrete and solid-state transformer technology, while Magment Americas Inc., based in Charlotte, leads North American manufacturing and commercialization.
