LS Electric has signed a major supply agreement worth approximately $220 million with Bloom Energy, further strengthening its position in the North America power infrastructure market.

The deal, announced April 29, covers the delivery of key power distribution equipment—including switchgear and transformers—for a hyperscale data center project in New Mexico. The facility is being developed for a global technology company amid rising demand for computing capacity driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

The agreement follows another recent contract secured by LS Electric, valued at around $117 million, tied to a separate data center power solutions project earlier this month.

The company reported strong financial performance in the first quarter, with record consolidated revenue of 1.3766 trillion won and operating profit of 126.6 billion won. The latest contract is expected to support continued growth as global investment in data center infrastructure accelerates.

To enhance competitiveness, LS Electric plans to expand its supply chain and increase localized production in the United States, particularly in Utah and Texas. The company is also advancing its capabilities in next-generation power systems, including low-voltage direct current (LVDC) technologies aimed at improving efficiency in data centers.

Industry demand for reliable and scalable energy solutions is rising alongside AI adoption, positioning companies involved in power infrastructure to benefit from long-term growth trends.
