Allelys Group has successfully transported a new power transformer to a remote substation in Scottish Highlands for a wind farm connection project constructed by SSEN Transmission.

The transformer arrived on schedule for installation in a new substation at Melgarve, near Garva Bridge, that will facilitate the connection of Stronelairg wind farm to the National Grid.
The Stronelairg wind farm connection project also included construction of a new Stronelairg substation, which is now complete.
