Koncar D&ST to Supply Transformers to NÖ Netz

Koncar D&ST has secured a contract worth over €26 million ($30.2 million) to deliver medium-power transformers to Netz Niederösterreich (NÖ Netz), part of Austrian electricity producer and transporter EVN.
According to a press release from Koncar D&ST, the deliveries are scheduled from September 2028 through December 2029, with an option to provide additional units during the same period. The scope of the contract includes design, production, testing, delivery, unloading, and assembly of the transformers.
The deal continues Koncar D&ST’s presence in the Austrian market and reinforces its position as a leading medium-energy transformer manufacturer in Europe. The company has been actively involved in the modernization and construction of electric power infrastructure across the region.
