Končar D&ST to Supply High-Capacity Transformers for Vilnius Technology Hub
A new electricity substation is being developed in Vilnius to ensure a stable and reliable power supply for the Teltonika Group Technology Park, a major high-tech industrial site in Lithuania.
The project includes the delivery of two 63 MVA 110/10/10 kV power transformers manufactured by Končar D&ST. The equipment will be installed at a new ESO 110 kV substation and is designed in accordance with IEC standards and EU Ecodesign ECO Tier 2 requirements.
Given the substation’s close proximity to the technology park, special attention was paid to environmental impact. The transformers achieve a noise level of just 45 dB(A) in ONAN operating mode, meeting specifications set by ESO’s Network Technology Department.
The project is being implemented in cooperation with AUSGA, the official representative of Končar in Lithuania. Project coordination and execution are being managed by ESO’s Strategic Project Management team.
Once operational, the substation is expected to support the growing energy demands of the Teltonika Group Technology Park, contributing to the resilience of local energy infrastructure and the continued development of Vilnius as a regional technology and manufacturing hub.
