Croatian transformer manufacturer Končar D&ST has secured a contract worth $17 million (€15+ million) for the supply of medium-power transformers to UK-based utilities SP Transmission PLC and SP Manweb PLC, both part of the SP Energy Networks group.

According to a company press release, the agreement covers the design, production, testing, delivery, unloading, and installation of transformers. Deliveries will take place between 2028 and 2030, aligning with ongoing upgrades to the UK’s electricity infrastructure.

Končar D&ST said the deal strengthens its long-term presence in the UK market and underscores its position as a leading supplier of medium-power transformers across Europe.
