Israeli-based manufacturer and distributor of power transformers, VRT Power, last year signed a five-year framework agreement with one of North America's major utilities for the design and supply of mobile substations.

The manufacture and testing of the first two mobile substations has been successfully completed, and the mobile substations are on the way to North America, VRT Power said in the press release.

The manufacturing of the next two mobile substations has begun and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
