In a significant step towards boosting agricultural productivity in the Malwa-Nimar region of India, the Madhya Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Ltd. (MPEPDCL) has added 5400 new transformers. The initiative aims to provide uninterrupted and efficient power supply to farmers, a critical requirement for irrigation and farming operations.

MPEPDCL officials stated that the transformers would directly benefit over 8,000 villages across the region, ensuring that farmers have reliable electricity to power their irrigation pumps, reducing disruptions caused by power outages.

The new transformers are part of the broader efforts by MPEPDCL to modernize the electrical infrastructure in the state, ensuring better quality and more consistent power delivery to rural areas.
