Hyosung HICO opens transformer manufacturing plant in Tennessee and is hiring

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE - Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, known as Hyosung HICO Ltd has opened their new power transformer plant in Memphis.

Having acquired the transformer production facility in Memphis from Mitsubishi Electric in December last year, the company announced it would invest $103 million in the new facility and hire 131 people in its first two years.

While new members to the team have already been welcomed, the company is looking to fill a few positions.

Currently open positions are EHS Specialist, Accounting and Inventory Analyst, Accounting and Inventory Manager.
