Honduran grid requires $364m investment for transmission infrastructure

Honduras' power transmission grid needs an investment of $364 million to reduce losses and improve reliability and service quality of electricity supply, according to Honduras system operator ODS.



The projects that need financing include construction of new lines and substations and installation of transformers, reports BN Americas.

Honduras' current grid includes 630 miles of 230 kV lines, 637 miles of 138 kV lines and 435 miles of 69 kV lines.
