Zurich, SWITZERLAND - Hitachi Energy's retrofill won The Energy Awards 2022.

Hitachi Energy announced that they are proud winners of the Energy Awards 2022 in the Net Zero Initiative Award - Projects category.

According to Hitachi Energy, their retrofill solution uses an eco-efficient fluoronitrile-based gas mixture to replace SF6 in installed high-voltage gas-insulated lines. This could be done with minimal changes to existing equipment while ensuring the performance of the equipment and significantly lowering environmental impact.
