SPAIN - This achievement sets a new benchmark for their Cordoba Factory as this is the biggest single-phase Shell transformer ever built in Cordoba in terms of power rating.

Steve Brouillette, Area Sales Manager Power Transformer at Hitachi Energy, has announced that the Hitachi Energy Cordoba factory in Spain reached another milestone by having successfully tested the first of six 1-ph 700 MVA, 420/27kV, GSU Shell form transformers.

According to Brouillette, this achievement sets a new benchmark for their Cordoba Factory as this is the biggest single-phase Shell transformer ever built in Cordoba in terms of power rating.
