Hitachi Energy Enhances Transformer Service with New Workshop in Welshpool

In a significant development for the energy industry, Hitachi Energy has unveiled its state-of-the-art Transformer Service Refurbishment and Testing Workshop in Welshpool, Western Australia. This purpose-built facility is set to bolster the company's service capabilities, specifically for distribution and small power transformers, accommodating units with capacities of up to 30MVA/132kV.

As a renowned global leader in sustainable energy solutions, Hitachi Energy remains committed to improving operational reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness within the ever-evolving energy landscape. The new workshop, conveniently situated just 6 km from Perth's airport, spans an impressive 4,000 square meters and is well-equipped to cater to a comprehensive range of transformer services. These services encompass everything from repairs, refurbishments, retrofits, and modifications to specialized offerings such as oil treatment and testing, available on-demand or under the recently introduced EnCompass™ Service Agreements.

Leveraging a century of experience and expertise, the dedicated teams at Hitachi Energy ensure that every asset's lifecycle is well-managed, guaranteeing resilient operations.
