Hitachi Energy Appoints Andy Goggin to Lead Americas Region
Hitachi Energy has appointed Andy Goggin as Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas Region, effective July 27, 2026, strengthening its executive leadership as the company continues to expand across North and South America. Goggin succeeds Anthony Allard, who will now focus exclusively on his role as Chief Marketing & Sales Officer.
Goggin brings more than 27 years of experience in the energy sector, including leadership positions in market development, sales, and organizational transformation. Before joining Hitachi Energy, he held several senior roles at Siemens Energy, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of New Generation Sales for North America.
According to Hitachi Energy, the appointment reflects the strategic importance of the Americas, where investment in transmission infrastructure, grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and AI-driven electricity demand continues to accelerate. The company said the region remains central to its long-term growth strategy and expanding portfolio of grid technologies.
As Head of the Americas Region, Goggin will oversee Hitachi Energy's operations across North and South America, with responsibility for driving regional growth, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the deployment of technologies that enable a more resilient and sustainable power system.
