The new portfolio of products, services and solutions from Hitachi ABB Power Grids is to contribute to a carbon-neutral future and accelerate the green energy transition.
Hitachi ABB Power Grids has launched its portfolio of products, services and solutions with proven environmental performance. With this portfolio, the company is reinforcing its commitment towards a carbon-neutral energy future, Hitachi ABB said in a press release.
Hitachi ABB Power Grids' environment-friendly portfolio is sustainability-oriented in design to deliver superior environmental performance compared to conventional solutions. Its High Voltage Products business has announced the use of an alternative insulation gas for high-voltage equipment, accelerating the adoption of an eco-efficient industry-standard solution to sulfur hexaflouride (SF6).
The new high-voltage portfolio has been proven to more than halve CO2 equivalent emissions throughout the total lifecycle.
