BANGALORE, INDIA - Hitachi ABB Power Grids has won a project worth more than $13.6 million from HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited to deliver a 220/66-kV substation to the company's Barmer refinery.
The manufacturer will install gas-insulated switchgear, enabling the refinery to conserve space.
It will also deploy industry-leading power transformers to enhance power infrastructure safety and efficiency.
The project will strengthen mission-critical power infrastructure at HPCL Rajasthan Refinery's Barmer refinery and contribute to the region's economic development, the company said in a press release.
