TRONDHEIM, NORWAY - Hitachi ABB Power Grids is collaborating with the Norwegian power grid operator Tensio TN AS on the delivery of a 145-kV fully digital substation at Sutterø to reduce the environmental impact and increase the reliability of the electricity grid in the area.
This substation project will include gas-insulated switchgear and Transformer Analyzer will be used to reduce the risk of transformer failure by intelligent analysis of transformer protection data.
The substation delivery is expected by June 2021, the manufacturer said in a press release.
