Georgia Governor Brian Kemp recently returned from a visit to Italy, marking his eighth overseas trip as governor. The trip concluded with several significant business meetings.

During his visit, Kemp met with representatives from nine companies that either operate in Georgia or are expanding within the state. A highlight of his meetings was with TMC Transformers, which has made significant strides in Georgia.

Cristiano Palladini, President of TMC Transformers USA Inc., emphasized the importance of the visit, stating, "Combining our experience in the Dry-Type transformer sector and the needs of the US market, the launch of the American plant in 2023 was a crucial step for the development of TMC's presence in the United States. Just one year later, the Governor's visit is a testament to the success of our efforts and a confirmation that our decision to establish operations in Georgia was a winning choice."

Other notable engagements included discussions with Luxottica, a major eyewear manufacturer with a distribution center in Henry County, and Pirelli, which operates its U.S. headquarters and a tire factory in Rome, Georgia. Kemp also met with representatives from Aquafil, Epta, MAPEI, Elemaster, Beretta, and La Regina di San Marzano, companies involved in various industries from electrical transformers to tomato sauce production, with many based near Milan.
